In the case of extended, unbroken fascia runs, it may be necessary to use a splice plate to connect distinct segments of fascia. This connection should be made prior to affixing the fascia to both corners.
To do this, insert the splice plate halfway into the fascia and secure it in place, ensuring that the rivets are positioned within the upper and lower grooves. Then, slide the subsequent length of fascia onto the splice plate, align the ends of the fascia snugly, and secure them in the same manner as before.
